Ready for your next big project of wedding photography in Melbourne! But, wait are you seriously ready for it or is something missing in your gig bag? Almost any Melbourne wedding photographer should never forget to have the four important types of camera lenses by their side, especially when they are working on those grand wedding projects. These lenses are Wide-to-Telephoto Zoom, Wide Angle Zoom, Prime/Portrait Lens and Image Stabilized Telephoto Zoom.

Know More about the Four Types of Lenses

The four lenses mentioned above are the most basic ones which any photographer should always have in their gig bag, mainly when they have to cover a wedding. The first style of lens is known as Wide-to-Telephoto Zoom. This is a classic lens used by majority of Melbourne wedding photographer. The focal length of these lenses is about 20-70mm and aperture is f/2.8. The lenses have a wide coverage and allow the photographers to cover minute details like facial expressions and other candid shots too.

Next are Wide Angle Zoom and Prime/Portrait Lens. Both of them are again popularly used for wedding photography as they hold a focal length of 17mm to 35mm and 24-70mm respectively. The optical quality of these lenses is a lot better and thus ensures you to capture crisp details in every shot.

The last is Image Stabilized Telephoto Zoom that comes with a focal length of about 70-200mm and is quite crucial for wedding ceremonies. Good thing is that using this lens the photographer grabs the opportunity to use more space in every subject of the picture.
